One contractor, accountable for the whole job.

Super Ampt Group is a multidisciplinary building contractor based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, working across Gauteng and Mpumalanga. The same team that pours the slab also wires the plant, fits the pipework, commissions the solar, installs the security and keeps the building maintained after handover. One scope. One programme. One number to call.

03What We Do

Six divisions. No handovers.

Most sites lose time in the gaps between trades. We closed the gaps by owning them — construction and civils, electrical, plumbing, solar, security and maintenance, all inside the same company, under the same project manager, on the same programme.

Super Ampt Construction & Civils · D-01

From ground to occupation certificate.

New build, renovation and structural alteration, plus the civil and infrastructure works that go with it — earthworks, concrete, drainage and site services — run by one project team from set-out to snag-free handover.

  • 01

    New builds & renovations

Residential and commercial work from foundation through to occupation certificate.

  • 02

    Civil engineering & infrastructure

Bulk earthworks, roads and hardstands, stormwater, sleeves, plinths and site reticulation.

  • 03

    Structural alterations & industrial refits

Plant rooms, workshops, mezzanines, guardhouses and perimeter civils.

  • 04

    Snag-list close-out & handover

A written snag register, worked to zero before we ask for the final certificate.

05How We Work

Seven gates. Something changes hands at every one.

Multidisciplinary work fails at the joins, so we made the joins into gates. Each phase below ends with a specific artefact — a document, a sign-off or a number — that you hold before the next phase starts. Nothing proceeds on a verbal.

  1. 01

    Brief & feasibility

We take your scope, walk the constraints and say plainly whether it is buildable to your date and your budget.

    You receive

A written feasibility note and a go / no-go position.

  2. 02

    Site survey & risk assessment

A measured survey of the real site: access, existing services, ground conditions and the hazards the work introduces.

    You receive

Survey record, plus a signed risk assessment and method statement.

  3. 03

    Design & itemised costing

Drawings and specification priced line by line, split by division, so you can see exactly what each trade costs.

    You receive

An itemised quotation, valid 30 days, split by division.

  4. 04

    Mobilisation & programme

Crews, plant and long-lead materials are booked against dates, and the safety file is lodged before anyone arrives.

    You receive

A dated programme with inspection hold points, and the site safety file.

  5. 05

    Delivery & coordination

One project manager holds every trade to the same programme, the same drawings and the same site rules.

    You receive

A weekly progress report against programme; variations in writing inside 48 hours.

  6. 06

    Commissioning, testing & COC

Systems are tested under load, results are recorded, and the electrical installation is certified against SANS 10142.

    You receive

Test records and your Certificate of Compliance.

  7. 07

    Handover & maintenance

Snags are worked to zero, as-built information is handed over, and the site moves onto a maintenance agreement if you want one.

    You receive

Snag register closed to zero, as-builts, and an optional SLA with response times.

Six pillars, applied at every gate

The same discipline whether it is a domestic rewire or a multi-storey commercial build.

  • 01

    Comprehensive planning

Scope, programme, risk register and procurement agreed before anyone mobilises.

  • 02

    Resource optimisation

Labour and plant allocated across divisions — one crew's downtime is another's start date.

  • 03

    Team coordination

One project manager, one programme, one set of drawings, every trade.

  • 04

    Quality assurance

Hold points, test records and certificates filed as work completes, not chased at handover.

  • 05

    Adaptability

Variations, weather and access changes come back as a re-planned programme in 48 hours.

  • 06

    Client-centric focus

A named contact, a weekly report, and no surprises on the final account.

07Security & Monitoring

Secured, watched and answered.

We design and install CCTV, access control, electric fencing and number-plate recognition, along with the solar and backup power that keeps them running through an outage. Then we monitor all of it, 24/7, from a control platform we built ourselves. When a fence zone trips, the matched camera comes up on the operator's screen and a 15-minute acknowledge clock starts, day or night.

Super Ampt Portal · Built in-house

Our own control-room software. One screen from alarm to response.

A control room should not depend on a cloud relay, or on an operator switching between a camera app, a fence panel and a logbook. We wrote our own. Cameras, fence zones and alarms from every site you own land in one place, so the operator sees where, sees what, and acts.

  • The alarm brings the camera with it

When a fence zone trips, the matched PTZ camera is cued onto the operator's screen automatically. No hunting through channels while the clock runs.

  • Every event graded and timed

Alarms are classed P1 to P4 the moment they land, each with a visible acknowledge clock. A P1 gets 15 minutes, and the screen shows exactly how many are left.

  • Every site on one wall

Live cameras laid over each site's own plan, for every site you own, from any PC on your network. No plugin, no app, no per-seat client.

  • Straight to your recorders

It talks to your Hikvision NVRs and DVRs directly over the site network. No cloud relay and no metered sessions that cut out mid-incident.

Group operating model

What we integrate

  • Solar, storage & load management

PV, batteries and generator changeover, with a dashboard for yield, consumption and alerts when a string or inverter drops.

  • CCTV design & maintenance

Coverage planned against a written risk assessment, then kept online under SLA — not installed and forgotten.

  • Access control & electric fencing

Booms, turnstiles and badge readers feeding the same log as the cameras and a zone-alarmed perimeter.

  • ANPR number-plate recognition

Vehicle capture at gates, with whitelists, exception alerts and POPIA-aware retention.

  • 24/7 off-site monitoring

Live operators on escalation paths you sign off before go-live, with a timestamped record of every event.

One team holds the cameras, the fence, the gate, the inverters and the operator seat — so at handover there is one system to learn and one number to call, not five suppliers to chase.

08Certifications & Compliance

Compliance isn’t a document you request afterwards.

It's in the file when we hand over. Six credentials sit behind every job, and registration numbers and certificates are supplied on request with the tender pack.

  • NHBRC

    Registered home builder

New residential work is enrolled with the National Home Builders Registration Council, so your home carries the statutory five-year structural warranty and is inspected at the mandated stages.

    Registration number available on request

  • SANS 10400

    National Building Regulations

Design and construction to the National Building Regulations and their SANS 10400 deemed-to-satisfy rules — structure, fire, energy, drainage and access — so plans pass and the occupation certificate follows.

    NBR (Act 103 of 1977) · SANS 10400

  • COC

    Certificates of Compliance

Every electrical and plumbing installation is tested and certified at completion, and the certificate is issued to you — not promised. We also take on remedial work to close out a COC that failed somebody else's inspection.

SANS 10142-1 · issued per installation

  • OHS ACT

    Construction safety file

Method statements and risk assessments are written per scope before mobilisation, with inductions, PPE discipline and appointment letters in the safety file — kept current for the life of the site.

Construction Regulations 2014 · file per site

  • B-BBEE

    100% black-owned

Super Ampt Group is a 100% black-owned company. Our B-BBEE certificate is available on request, with the rest of the tender pack.

    Certificate available on request

  • COVER

    Public liability & workmen's cover

Contractors all-risk, third-party liability and workmen's compensation cover are in place across all six divisions. Certificates and cover limits are supplied with the tender pack on request.

Certificates and cover limits available on request

Procurement teams: ask for the safety file, the insurance certificates and a sample COC before you appoint anyone — including us. The pack is sent as one PDF, usually inside a working day.

09Why Super Ampt Group

Seven reasons procurement keeps re-appointing us.

None of these are difficult to claim. All of them are easy to check — ask us for the certificates, the safety file, the programme, or the reference.

  • 500+

    A decade-plus track record

More than ten years building, under the same management, with 500-plus completed projects behind us. Work we did early on is still standing — and in several cases we still maintain it.

    Projects completed · 10+ years

  • A genuine one-stop provider

Six trades inside one company. No sub-contractor chain to manage, no third party to blame, one invoice at the end of it.

  • In-house project management

Dedicated PMs, a live risk register and multidisciplinary coordination that is somebody's actual job title.

  • Compliance-driven

NHBRC-enrolled residential work, National Building Regs and SANS, COCs on completion, and a safety file kept current for the life of the site.

  • Safety-first culture

Method statements, risk assessments, inductions and PPE discipline — written before mobilisation and kept live on site, not produced at handover.

  • Community and skills transfer

We hire and train locally. Job creation and certifiable skills transfer are built into how we resource a site, not bolted on for a tender.

  • On time and on budget

Programme and cost tracked weekly and reported to you. Variations arrive as a document, never as a surprise on the final account.

10The Team

The same spine holds every division.

More than a decade of the same accountable project-management spine running across all six divisions. Below the Managing Director we describe the seats, not invented names: these are the roles that carry your job, and you meet the people holding them at kick-off.

  • Operations Manager

Owns the week: which crew, which plant and which materials are on which site, and what moves when a job runs late.

  • Lead Project Manager

Owns the programme and the client relationship — one name against every trade on the job, from kick-off to final certificate.

  • Site Agent

Owns the site: sets out the work, runs the daily programme against the drawings, and keeps the trades, plant and inspections in the right order.

  • Compliance & Safety Officer

Owns the file — method statements, risk assessments, inductions and certificates, current before anyone sets foot on site.

  • Divisional Foremen

Own the workface in each of the six divisions: quality of the installation, discipline on the tools, and the daily report back to the project manager.

11Skills & Community

Job creation is a mechanism here, not a sentiment.

Our vision commits to creating jobs and transferring real skills in the communities where we work. Six divisions under one roof is what makes that practical: an apprentice can move between trades, under qualified artisans, on live sites, without leaving the company.

  • L-01

    Learnership & apprenticeship intake

A structured pipeline across the electrical, plumbing, construction and solar trades — placements that run toward a trade test and a qualification, not a certificate of attendance.

  • L-02

    Local labour first

General and semi-skilled labour is resourced from the communities around each site wherever the scope allows. It is the commitment in our vision, and it is also the fastest way to build a crew that stays.

  • L-03

    Mentored on live work

Every apprentice works under a qualified artisan and a divisional foreman, on real installations, with the logbook signed only as competencies are actually demonstrated.

  • L-04

    Supplier development

Small local suppliers and specialist subcontractors are brought onto our terms and paid to agreed dates, so the volume we win becomes volume they can grow on.

Apprentices & training partners

Enquire about learnerships.

Open to school-leavers, semi-skilled staff already on the tools, and SETA or training partners looking to place candidates.

Enquire about learnerships

On the enquiry form, choose the sector you want to train in from Sector of interest and write “learnership” in the message. It reaches the same project managers who run the sites.

Wider impact

  • Cost saving by design

Bundling six trades removes duplicate preliminaries, standing time and mark-up on sub-contractors. Solar and load management then cut the running cost after handover.

  • Environmental stewardship

Renewable generation, efficient plant selection and responsible waste handling are specified up front, on the drawing — not reported after the fact.

  • Local employment
  • Certifiable skills transfer
  • Responsible waste handling
